Анотація | Abstract
The article deals with some peculiarities of the use in the investigation of group crimes of extremist direction of the information, obtained as a result of the analysis of videos from the cameras of the external surveillance, other sources of video recording, in particular, made by representatives of the media, eyewitnesses, as a result of conducting unspoken investigators) actions, investigative measures, and use as an evidence.
There are identified sources for obtaining video information about the crime: outdoor surveillance cameras are installed in the streets, public places, shops, government agencies, cars; videos made by: witnesses of the event; operators of television companies and other media; direct participants in criminal events; operative law enforcement officers and received during the unspoken investigative actions. The author considers some peculiarities of obtaining video recordings during investigative actions (inspection of the scene, search, questioning of witnesses and suspects, conducting of unspoken investigative actions).
The cases of involvement of experts in the pre-trial investigation are considered; identified the main groups of issues that are addressed by forensic experts in conducting expert studies (in particular, for the purpose of detecting falsifications, gabitoscopic studies; sound monitoring, determining the time of the event, certain situational issues for individual pieces of video, etc.); peculiarities of research of videos obtained as a result of conducting unspoken investigative (search) actions, etc.
The authors concluded that conducting timely analysis of this information significantly increases the effectiveness of investigating group criminal offenses of extremist activity.
