Анотація | Abstract
The article deals with contemporary problems of preparation and carrying out of identification of a person, things and other objects as a separate investigative action. Attention is drawn to the fact that forensic classification of recognition by identifiable objects is much wider than its procedural definition. The author revealed the essence, tasks and scientific bases of cognition as a procedural action, psychological bases of formation and memorization of the image by a person who can be involved to the process of identification of different objects.
The fundamental human ability to properly perceive and remember characteristics of objects, to reproduce them adequately, and obtain a reliable conclusion about the identity based on the tactile sensation previously perceived, has been reasoned. It is concluded that the memorized image of the person, whose characteristics, features of the appearance were perceived by those who are familiar with the use of tactile perception, gives grounds for recognizing the person not only in kind or by photo or video material, but also by a haptic (tactile) image stored in memory.
Recommendations were made for the preparation and conduct of this form of identification.
